Moods of the landscape. Over the past, too many years, large areas of our bush have been threatened and devastated by fire. It seems as though each year brings a new area of devastation. For some years now I have been visiting areas affected and many of the works in this gallery stem from such visits. Whilst one is saddened by the devastation one is also encouraged by the regeneration. Even in the most profoundly affected areas one can find beauty as nature weaves her magic. One hopes that this trend does not continue to escalate as global warming takes effect. AT some point the balance will trip and recovery become more problematic, at the moment moods and magic are evident even in these damaged landscapes.
