Painting in Karajini National Park: Australian Artist Magazine - December Issue: A trip into the Western Australian Karijini National Park was inspirational. Nova Espero Creative Ventures were the ones that organised the practicalities of this trip. All I had to do was come with painting gear and the rest was all done for me. Camping provides a closer link to the world because there are no solid walls between you nature. You can see, smell, hear everything that is happening. Add to this, good food and hot showers and life doesn't get much better. This place is truly magical and I can't wait to go back and refine my impressions. Colour, drama, sublety, texture... it is all there and then some. Works painted here and then further explored back in the studio are on display until December 20th at Lovegrove Winery 1420 Heidelberg Kinglake Road, in Cottlesbridge.
