Ev Hales - Karijini Magic
These works are part of an exhibition at Lovegrove Winery Nov 1st - 20th December 2009. Inspired by the Karijini National Park area the paintings range from tiny, bold images to large, subtle pieces. Watercolours on both yupo and paper explore the amazing landforms and the beautiful informal patterns found therein. From awe inspiring gorges to the subtlest hues in the landscape the eye is constantly challenged to take in the variety here. This land is food for the soul and I came home inspired.
